The Sackett En Masse overhead drag conveyor is an excellent method of transporting dry bulk materials in a horizontal application. The en masse concept, proven in many years of use, moves a high volume with little horsepower. Shown in the photo at right, Sackett En Masse flights are approximately 1" tall. There is no divider plate in the conveyor, and even though the flights are not tall, they are able to move a column of material 7 to 10" tall. A multiple number of gates are possible, as are multiple inlet points. en masse: adv [F] (1795) : in a body : as a whole Sackett manufactures a variety of En Masse models.
