Technical Sales Position
Industrial/Systems engineering and equipment Company is looking for a Technical Salesperson to join the sales team for “outside sales”. Sackett’s focus is in the agriculture industry selling equipment to fertilizer companies, COOP’s, producers, etc. A majority of the equipment is sold as an “engineered system” incorporating mechanical and sometimes electrical and automation. Typical projects include bulk terminals (handling of dry granular fertilizer to/from truck, rail, barge through belt conveyors, bucket elevators, etc.) and fertilizer mixing systems. The applicant should have a technical background with industrial equipment. Experience in agriculture is a plus. Job position includes business development, client visits, equipment sales and design for the US. Approximately 50% travel is typical.
